Desiree Swanson joined August Metals in 2018.  Her experience in both Corporate and Government positions, in various functions, including contracting, purchasing/supply chain, logistics, finance, compliance, audit, operations & administration allows her to wear many hats in her current role.  Proactive by nature she ensures the smooth operation of the day-to-day business. 

Her past employers include Rolls-Royce Marine, BHP Billiton, Petroleum Geo-Services, Mercer Advisors, Raytheon, and the U.S. Army. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
